My thoughts. Crazy concept(but we all knew that). Honestly, I think the concept is for those wanting to break into the industry, or those who are already in it. But, it's a wake up call to all of them that wake up poppin' bottles and chasing those "Flashing Lights" at night, just to do it all over again the very next day, it's all they live for.

I'll keep the Mimosa, they can have that nightlife BS.

A lessoned learned. In case you haven't heard, the Univerisity of Tennessee Men's basketball star Chris Lofton, was diagnosed with testicular cancer in March of 2007. He played through it without telling his teamates, his friends, and his fans. Now a year later after leading the team to the Sweet 16 two years in a row, he came out publicly last week about his fight with cancer. Now, more than ever there is an overwhelming amount of respect for Chris Lofton. For one, he didn't use his illness as a crutch for sympathy from his teammates or Tennessee fans, two...basketball, he didn't quit. Simply put, seeing this man around campus and running into him a couple of times... we NEVER knew, he remained positive and played like there was no tomorrow, he's a survivor. A student and fan of Chris Lofton's at UT did this video displaying his impecable skills on the grain, to Lupe Fiasco's, "Instumental". Enjoy.

Toronto Stand the F' Up!!!

I've been meaning to post this for the longest time. But, I think it might be a bit fitting since Kanye's video premier of "Flashing Lights" is to be airing tomorrow on BET. Colin Munroe, is a Canadian artist that has gotten critical acclaim from the man himself, Mr. Kanye West, with his rendition of Kanye's "Flashing Lights". It is actually really hot and the video is superdope.

He's an idie artist (indie artist are the shizz right now) and check this...his first buddy on his top friends list... J to tha Dilla! Doesn't get any better than that. Check out his myspace, he's got some free downloads up, so cop them fast before he takes them down and check his other songs, those are pretty nice as well. Dammit 'Ye!!

Okaay, so he didn't premire the video for "Flashing Lights" today on BET...but here is a "trailer" to the video. It's about two and a half mintues long. Directed, Spike Jonze and features Rita G ((Can you say Apollonia??!))who I MUST RANT and RAVE about because she is a real, everday woman... very porportional and what I mean by that is that her ass is not so damn huge and her waist isn't pencil thin, i.e.. Lola Angel or Angel Lola whatever and whoever she goes by. Rita G actually has meat on her damn bones and she don't play the f--k around...reminds me of Angela Basset in "Waiting to Exhale" but you'll see, lol. enjoy.




OKay so you just got through watchin' the video...weird aye? lol. It's all good, Kanye is definetly going out of the far left field on this one! Can't wait till Monday's OFFICIAL Premire on BET!!! Until then.

Man, okay I have to address these political back and forths that have been going on b/w Rhymefest and Lupe Fiasco. SOHH.com, kinda pissed me off a bit with their "article"(which was horrible journalism, bad spelling, and wasn't OBJECTIBLE but it was more like a damn blog ,like this one, and had OPINIONS written all over it, that's a dern NO NO in journalism)...and they didn't put up my comment to the "article" that I posted because I'm guessing I had something real to say, or maybe because I called their a$$'s out and to say the least I wasn't BIAS. Also, I guess I wasn't using enough ignorant "internet thug" lingo that they LOVE to use so much.

What seems to be a really OLLLDDD LP song. X-Ecutioners ft. Linkin Park. This was my shizz back in the day, 10th grade man, good ol' days. Great ol' Linkin Park. I used to sit on the piano for hours playing by ear and learning all their songs. I had the old Grey Daze Album from Chester B.'s old group and learned how to play 'My December' and some other joints off LP's first album 'Hybrid Theory'. But anywho. Enjoy because it's going down.
