First and foremost I wanna congratulate Mr. Lupe Fiasco for his new Grammy status!!! He won for Best Urban Alternative Performance for Daydreamin' ft. Jill Scott , I knew you would get it!!! So, congrats again!!!
AMMMMMYYY WINEHOUSE!!!! Ran with awards for Best New Artist and Record of the Year along with some others. She may not have been physically present but she made her presents known! That's what's up. She deserved it! I just wish she could have made it to the States to perform!
And finally, Mr. West! Kanye won half of this eight nominations for best rap album for "Graduation," best solo performance for "Stronger," best rap song for "Good Life" and best rap performance by a duo or group for his collaboration with Common on "Southside." He also gave the world a sneak peak at what is to come for his upcoming world "Glo in the Dark Tour" which will feature newly crowned Grammy Winner Lupe Fiasco, N*E*R*D* and Rhianna. Also, in triubute to his mother, he had the word "Mama" etched in his hair and gave a tribute performance of "Hey Mama". So, congrats to everyone, and sidebar--- really glad Soulja Hoe didn't win ;)
