Site Revamp and a lil’ update.

What up, what up!?! I missed you guys for real! I missed this damn blog. But hey, the Misses has been busy with all kind of shh like school, I completed a crazy, nice, freaking fabulous internship (details about that later) and I'm working, lol. So, much has gone on in the blog world since I've been MIA. I kinda feel bad about the neglect but I've been doing tha/my damn thing…so all is not lost.

But anyways.

Okay, so I'm working on revamping the blog, possibly. I never knew what the focus of my blog was supposed to be. First it was just for me, then for music, then it was movies, politics, some fashion here and there…just a bit of whatever/whoever I was interested in at the time. My taste has grown and remained the same since my last post December 31, 2008. So, in new future post you'll see what new interest I've taken up. This should be interesting. I hope you ride shot gun on this journey with me. Deuces (throwin it up)!

Umm...yeah it's been a long time...shouldn't have left you!

I feel horrible, no one probably reads this blog anymore but hey...hear me out. I got this internship of a life time and now I'm relocating from the South up to the North, NYC to be exact, for about 5 months! Yay for me right??

I should be back on here...for real, for real to give you the update and the low down of my life in the city. Stay tuned (for real this time) the misses has been up to somethings...like making a career for herself, lol! I'll see you guys in NY! Peace!

The Democratic National Convention kicked off in Denver, Colorado last night and
as I shrug my shoulders and I 'LOL', this picture definitely says a thousand words. Though the words that spill from the Red, White and Blue banner splatter on to the T-Shirts, it's a real testament (in my opinion) that the South isn't all technically full of Red states. This is a change and I wouldn't have thought that self-proclaimed, "Rednecks" would support Obama but...who would have thunk it??

Aww man, I missed my Blog-a-versary!!

Well, yeah...it's been a year since I've had this "blog" so I want to wish my shnukums a Happy Blog-a-versary and I hope we have many more!

Okay, now that that's done! It's been a CRAZY summer, I've been hella busy trying to handle mine and noooowwww the Fall semester is about to start AHHHH! Anyways. I've really missed being on here, I feel that I have lied a couple of times saying, "I'm coming back", but I am back with a vengence, semi-refreshed, and FRESHER than ever, so get ready! Shouts out to Kaycee and Don for periodically checking on my well being! I want more comments people, I don't just do this for my health (well, somewhat I do) I do this for ya'll!! WASHINGTON (May 29) - Barack Obama's doctor says he's "in excellent health," in a one-page letter released by the campaign Thursday.

The Democratic presidential candidate's vice: He's a smoker who has quit, unsuccessfully, on several occasions - but is currently trying again, with Nicorette gum, "with success," wrote Dr. David T. Scheiner, a Chicago internist.

Obama, 46, is a regular jogger "with no excess body fat," Scheiner wrote. His last checkup over a year ago found excellent blood pressure and cholesterol levels, no signs of heart problems on an EKG, and a healthy prostate, the letter concluded.

Scheiner has been Obama's primary care doctor since 1987, and said he was summarizing 21 years of medical records in five paragraphs.

My thoughts. Crazy concept(but we all knew that). Honestly, I think the concept is for those wanting to break into the industry, or those who are already in it. But, it's a wake up call to all of them that wake up poppin' bottles and chasing those "Flashing Lights" at night, just to do it all over again the very next day, it's all they live for.

I'll keep the Mimosa, they can have that nightlife BS.

School Spirit.

A lessoned learned. In case you haven't heard, the Univerisity of Tennessee Men's basketball star Chris Lofton, was diagnosed with testicular cancer in March of 2007. He played through it without telling his teamates, his friends, and his fans. Now a year later after leading the team to the Sweet 16 two years in a row, he came out publicly last week about his fight with cancer. Now, more than ever there is an overwhelming amount of respect for Chris Lofton. For one, he didn't use his illness as a crutch for sympathy from his teammates or Tennessee fans, two...basketball, he didn't quit. Simply put, seeing this man around campus and running into him a couple of times... we NEVER knew, he remained positive and played like there was no tomorrow, he's a survivor. A student and fan of Chris Lofton's at UT did this video displaying his impecable skills on the grain, to Lupe Fiasco's, "Instumental". Enjoy.
